Thanks to all for your comments. I know I have been fortunate to buy this bike from Juan. I spoke with one of the Norwegians last week and he said that he was interested at the time. TBH I could not be sure wether it was genuine but felt it was worth a punt and what can I say but Juan was a pleasure to deal with and a more honest and helpful person you could not wish to encounter. I know there are stories of idiots out there but I maintain that the biking brotherhood is a sound one and long may it continue so.

There are some members here that have helped me big time in getting the bike sorted and I will be eternaly grateful. Will I be able to return the favour directly ? Maybe, maybe not. But I will do the same for someone else when I can..................and it will come round to you in the end.

The bargain that it was Arrow now stands me £2600. Will I count a new set of tyres on that ? That wouldn`t really count would it as they are service items. So £2800 or £2600 it matters not. What is it worth, £3000 ? It`s all academic really as the smile on my face was worth more than £3k of illicit substances Rolling Eyes

Anyone wants to have a go...................you are more than welcome.
