Probably not what most of you are looking to buy, ('cos you already have a similar one yourself! ) but you might know somebody who is looking for a modest outlay 900 - I've listed this bike on VJMC Buy & Sell if anyone is interested. £10750 ovno.
Thanks.

Re: Z900 to Loomies Moto Cafe today
hi Andrew S - hope you enjoyed your ride out today - I did, even if it was probably at a slower pace than yourself!
I should have brought the 900 instead of the 250!
Maybe next time, but I'll have to clean it first so that it outgleams your one haha!

Re: Removing A4 carbs
Is it possible to remove all four float bowls with the carbs in-situ? just wondering because I have a slight leak from the bowl gasket on no.2 carb, and bowl screws in carb 3 could do with replacing with new ones - having to take the whole shebang out to get at/replace the one weepie gasket/four scr...

Re: A4 key number
got a Timpsons here - he said no. just seen a place in SE London that does m/c key cutting. Got 6 bikes that all need spare keys cut, so once I get all the blanks together I'll be going over and get them all done in one go.

Re: A4 key number
Question - once you have got the new blank, who are you going to use to cut the new key? I've got the same problem, got the blank but can't get any local keycutters to do it for me, cos they didn't supply the freakin blank!!!

Re: STAFFORD 2018
Yep - a really good display there also, very nice to see a few more 900A4s dotted around the arena - think I saw 6 in total, which is a lot more than last year. (And no brown ones haha! )

Re: z900a4 - tyres
tyres, tubes, rim tape all arrived today - hope we've still got some nice dry days ahead to scrub em in and see what they're like. Maybe it'll be 70's Pirelli Phantoms revisited ? haha!

Re: z900a4 - tyres
thanks chaps - I've just looked at the Avon Roadrider AM26 - about £150 a pair. TT100 K81s weigh in at around £185 a pair. Always had TT100s 'back in the day', until the Pirelli Phantom made an appearance - wow! what a revelation they were! Might go with the Roadriders - i've got them fitted...

z900a4 - tyres
hi all -
the kz900a4 needs new rubber. I'm definitely not a peg-scratcher wheelie-boy or wheelspinner (too old for all that jazz), so in your opinion, what do you think would be the best (retro-style?) tyres to suit 'Sunday afternoon rides' ?
thanks

Re: newer 'old' bikes
making the most of the fine weather, plus the fact that I'm addicted to strawberry frappucinos :) . Getting more used to the 1100 now, even with the narrow bars. Its definitely a nicer/smoother ride that the kz900, but then that's to be expected. Always thought there would only ever be one 'keeper' ...
