Valve guide seals

Hi All
I think i have a piston ring gone, so a top end strip down is imminent, Whilst she is in bits a head refurb seems a sensible thing to do. What is the consensus on valve guide seals, genuine v pattern. Your thoughts please?

Hi Phil. Has the seat worn any of the repaint on the tail piece, or where the tank meets the front if the seat, I know my Z1B had been resprayed at some time in her past, i was able to see that she was originally blue.

I would do the minimum you have to, as previously mentioned oil tyres etc. I got 1979 triumph bonneville last year with 350 miles on the clock from new, my mates got it as a basket case and recommissioned her. To cut a long story short. The first owner got it without the permission of the one who is...

Yes i have a replacement tank supplied by Z Power, the bloke who sprayed it was impressed that it was not necessary to do any filling in the prep to spraying. I would recommend :D
