Has anyone replaced stock bulbs with LED ones ? Thinking of brighter brake/indicator bulbs really - Is it legal and do they make much of a difference ? Cheers :blah

Thanks all - got the CTEC charger - As a matter of interest, when connecting trickle chargers do you usually connect negative lead to the - battery terminal or to frame of bike ? Also, if you use the eyelets (rather than the clamps) to connect to the battery terminals, can you leave these connected ...

Been thinking about upgrading the stock points system on my 79 A2 to Dyna type electronic ignition - What's the general advice here inc best type and likely cost to get it fitted etc ? Cheers. :rock

Erratic indicators

Indicators on my A2 (both sides) seem to flash erratically ie double flash/flicker for a while occasionally and then often return to normal - All bulbs are working ie none blown - Any ideas please ? Thanks all :roll:

Thanks mate - Think it's an Alpha pipe - It was my mates bike originally and think it was put on at delivery in 79 !! Only covered 15k miles from new though. :roll:

Couldn't resist it today - Such a nice sunny day so battery back on and started her up after 3 months or so in winter hibernation, then out for a 20 miles or so run - Ran like a dream !! :D
