For Sale - Z1B

KAWASAKI Z1B – FOR SALE For sale is my Z1B, which I have owned since July 2016. The bike is a USA import and I bought it as a project. The dating letter from Kawasaki confirms the engine and frame numbers are matching and the bike was manufactured in November 1974. The original Vin tag shows 11/74 ...

Front Brake Light Switch

Currently restoring this '72 Z1 and fitting a new front brake light switch.

Question is, do you need to apply any sealant to the threads to prevent it leaking or just screw it in tight?

Re: Z1 Paintwork

Just started a restoration of a '72 Z1 and looking for recommendations for someone who can do the paintwork. It's going to be candy orange / brown and did consider a new paint set from Z-Power but as the tank, panels and tail piece are good I'd like to keep the originals and have them painted provi...

Another Z1B Resurected

20171029_105449.jpg Recently completed this Z1B and rather pleased with the result. Only got 100 miles on it since registration so it's going to have to wait until next year to get a proper run out. Only thing I didn't do was have the carbs ultra sonic cleaned and it's not running as smoothly as it...

]It's been a while since my last post but I've finally got around to uploading a couple of pictures of the bike the day it arrived. A few parts missing, exhausts in particular and a few wrong parts but a pretty good basis to start from. [/color] http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/zz160/AndrewaH2/20...

New Member - Co Durham

Hi everyone, new member, Andrew from Barnard Castle.

Just a quick post to say hello.

Recently bought a Z1B project from that nice Mr Orritt in Lancashire. The bike is stripped, frame powder coated and is starting to go back together. I'll post a few pics later.
