yip, they're 26mm z1000 (as stated) a1/2 carbs not 28mm, the lack of side mounted air screws along with the underslung adjustment screws identifies them as such. Happy to be corrected. I don't "specialise" on the subject

the MOST elusive of all Z1-Z1000 factory manual jobbies Mike, there are incremental versions from the scarcest; the first edition (1976 ISSUED) Z1000 A1 ONLY, to the later, annually, updated versions which also covered the A2, A3 and A4 Z1000s.knowing you Mike you'll WANT a 1st edition or maybe two!...

I'd just whip the whole mechanism off, drop it in some cheap supermarket cola overnight (other, more expensive brands are also available tho.) pull it apart, cola dip again n lightly grease the parts, paying attention to the condition of the springs which are often f'ed n only pennies to replace. m....

I'd advocate avoiding dyna coils at all costs, based on personal experience THEY'RE SHITE and offer no benefits over std n are just a moulten plasma ball ache...

those look like z750 carbs with acj's fitted mike, (std 750 mains would be 130's, pilots #35 needle in 3rd slot ) gpz carbs are finished in black.
