Re: Stafford - October 2022 - Call for bikes.

Chris if you need a backup for Z1 I can bring my Sept 72. Restored by Greg Walker with original parts 20 years ago. Don't need the £50 as i am fairly local. I took it as a private entry last year.
Cheers, Don

Z1 - Z900 A4 fork cylinders compatible?

Hi all does anyone know if the A4 fork cylinders are a straight swap into Z1/Z1A forks? They look very similar in the parts fiche and I know the tubes are the same.

Thanks, Don

Re: Original selling price Z1-B

Thanks for all the help guys. I've settled on an original selling price of £1286 for my article as that seems to match the info I've received from various sources and also seems to ring a bell in my memory. How times have changed, From £1286 in 1975 for the top-of-the-range Kwacker (Z1-B) to £22,13...

Re: Early Z1 arrives in N. Wales.

Go to this URL https://www.kawasakioriginalparts.com And enter the part 92037061 in the search box on left hand side They come up as in stock and orderable. I just tried it - they have plenty in stock at £5.98 I agree overseas stuff is crazy prices now. The H2 part is the same number as the superced...

Re: Early Z1 arrives in N. Wales.

If you enter the OEM part number in the search box on Cradley Kawasaki website, it will come up if they have it. Price was good too £8 each delivered. Also the appearance is correct - dark olive. Sometimes the big 4 manufacturers use modern replacements (like for tubing) which dont look the same as ...

Re: Early Z1 arrives in N. Wales.

That’s funny I bought an H2C in summer - it had black powder coated rear bands on it - I just ordered some OEM ones from Cradley Kawasaki pretty reasonable actually. Lovely bike, I enjoyed the photos on the website. They must have run low on metal flake after putting that much on the early bikes! Af...

Early Z1 arrives in N. Wales.

My Z1 made the trip safely from Minnesota to N Wales thanks to Shippio, Alien Transport and lots of ACF50. Just got my L Reg plate and looking forward to the VJMC meets at the Bhurtpore Inn in Cheshire when we are allowed. CE96A667-C0A7-4485-AD86-CA3EF4FD8E77.jpeg C19E9E3E-24BB-4487-9A83-5F7C6F4BEC1...
