Re: KZ900 Fo Sale

The Bike will have be broken due to lack of real interest so anyone who wants parts let me know what you want and your best price.

Depending on what is wanted and time schedule it will be between now and March 2019.

regards

Re: KZ900 Fo Sale

It is an excellent bike for the money, but no one seems to want it so I may break it down and sell it off bit by bit. I could make more money although it is a pain doing it :)))))))))))))))))) :P

Re: KZ900 Fo Sale

The Carbs were not injured in any way, it is simply I have not red lined the engine as it is not run in. The bike has had so little mileage it really has had no time to run in. It is not damaged or faulty it is 42 years old and no one should expect it to behave like a two year old machine with 20k m...

Re: KZ900 Fo Sale

It does not run badly, it runs well, but the z1000 carbs are not designed for the Z900. I have z900 carbs I paid a fortune for and they were cleaned by experts and so called experts on dynatune and they ended up with rich high setting and 106 main jets stuffed in them and still did not work. THe Z10...

KZ900 Fo Sale

Hi all After the conversion to double disk I have decided to sell my beloved bike. It is black paint with 4-1 Vance Hines in excellent condition. Seat has a few minor tears at the usual front. Not that bothersome. It has had EVERYTHING replaced over the last few years except the clutch and gearbox. ...

KZ900 R/H Caliper needed. Cash Waiting

Hi I got stitched up on eBay (surprise huh) a caliper pair I bought years ago look like KZ900 but the bleed nipple is angled rather than vertical like the original. Of course the metal feed pipe that inserts into the original caliper to a depth of 10mm is too short for the new calipers so is useless...

worst Z900 ever finally working!!!

Hi all, I have not posted for some time, so I thought I should follow up on the problems I have had. I purchased the bike in 2008 and had to almost sue the shop as it had so many faults and problems. I spent £1800 on it and finally it rode very well. It had Z1000 carbs on it and the local garage I u...

thanks ,njwmct I also have a pair of Z1000 carbs and they are a different carb altogether. On the Z900 you have a mixture screw. On the Z1000 Carbs you do not. Underneath the carb on a Z1000 is a "Volume" screw adjuster. The air mix is done inside the carb on this one. I have the standard ...

Thanks Ralph I have been unable to find anyone in the UK who has a dyno and charges less than £200 with no guarantee they can see the problem. I live in West London and there is no one here. I went out for a ride today and had to adjust the air screw to 1 and 1/2 it should be 1 and 3/8 so tomorrow ...
