Re: New member - I used to own 75 Z1B JTV 648N
Does no one on here know the current owner? I find that hard to believe..... I can only apologise on behalf of all the members of the Z1OC that we don't know the location and owners of every single Z1 (in all it's guises and derivatives) that ever came off KHI's production line. I will ask that the...

Re: New member - I used to own 75 Z1B JTV 648N
Once again I've checked the DVLA enquiry site and found that the bike has been taxed for another year. This time I've sent an email to them asking if they can pass on my request for an update on the bike to the present owner....

Z1000 MkII 4-1 with silencer on left side
I owned a Z1000 MkII from 1984-1985 and installed a black 4-1 system with the silencer on the left side which finished roughly by the passenger pegs. Does anyone have any idea what make of 4-1 it might have been? I documented all 5 exhaust systems I had on my 75 Z1B but cannot remember the Z1000's f...

Re: New member - I used to own 75 Z1B JTV 648N
Heart-warming story The money lavished on the engine must of been ruinous though :down I hope you find her drew The bike cost me 1,075 GBP when I bought it in 1977 and then I spent another 2,000 GBP over the following two years on the engine (mainly) and wheels and other bits and bobs. It was well ...

Re: New member - I used to own 75 Z1B JTV 648N
Welcome along... would you buy it back if you had the chance? Jay1969, only if it was still in exactly the same trim as it was on the day I sold it. The engine was in such a state of tune which is why I always suspected it to have passed away. If it still has the same engine (cams, cranks etc) then...

New member - I used to own 75 Z1B JTV 648N
Hello, I owned JTV 648N from 1977 - 79 when I reluctantly sold it to finance my hitchhiking travels around the world. Seeing all the Zeds on Facebook gave me hope that my bike (sorry to the present owner :) ) was still out there, which was confirmed by a visit to the DVLA Vehicle enquiry page. It is...
