Re: Taco drive leak

Got a set of JIS and tried tightening then loosening. Sprayed with penetrating oil. No go.
Another thought do I need to take the cam cover off? Not for the screw but to get the drive aligned

Taco drive leak

Has anyone tried removing the drive in the head to replace the seals? The cross head screw on mine doesn’t want to budge

Headlight steady bracket

I’ve never had one fitted on my bike. I assume from the part I have it is secured behind the brake splitter on the lower yolk

Re: Valve stem oil seals and valve seal conditioners

I worked in the seal industry in the dim and distant. Valve stem seals are controlled leakage devices they need to let some oil through to keep working

Re: Valve stem oil seals and valve seal conditioners

Not sure I see how this works. If a seal is worn what does do? Increase viscosity? Fill the gap?(risk of clogging the oil galleries). Make the seal swell? (Then it will do this to all the seals)

Re: Bikes For Sale

Bill,
whilst I could afford it the following divorce would wipe me out. I have too many toys already I am told :D I'll do the raffle for the unregistered T160 from Museum instead. Good luck with the sale.

Re: The Great South West (ish) Rally

I hope to come along as it’s very local to me. Not sure I’ll have my paint set back and fitted.
