Big shout out to Jim - brilliant rally in a brilliant venue. First class!

He even sold his soul to the Devil to secure us fantastic sunshine. I was unprepared and have a burned bald patch

Many thanks Jim :D

Sounds about right  The ride out is good for giving the liver a rest from the near constant abuse of a rally

Re: The Great South West (ish) Rally

Is there an itinery for the weekend Nothing very detailed really:- Arrive Friday afternoon/early evening, eat/drink loads and talk crap. Wake up Saturday, eat fat bastard breakfast prepared by the lovely Sam. Once sufficient people have recovered from the excesses of Friday evening we will set off ...

Lower Lode Rally

There's not been a lot of activity on the Rally thread in "Meetings and Events", so as I've put in a bit o work organising this years rally to make up for the demise of Yorkshire and South West rallies due to twatty t**t venue owners being greedy or our case obnoxious to those shovelling m...

Re: The Great South West (ish) Rally

Thanks to Becker for some tips, I have now created a ride out and installed it on my Sat Nav. As usual I will accept all liquid inducements to tell where the ride is going , but no-one will know where it is until we get there, as has become a tradition! Jerry has supplied us with a rally pack, which...

Re: Belgium Z rally 2019

I would love to do this one and there's even an outside chance CB could be tempted along. I'll call Tony and Carol and see if they'd like to join us. Sounds like a plan's coming together :D

Re: 2019 Warsteiner rally Germany

Thanks for that Scott. CB has pointed out that we're going off to Malta the following week and it might not be good for business for me to have another extended break so close. Shame as I really fancied it :(

Re: 2019 Warsteiner rally Germany

What's the score with a B&B/hotel in the locality? I'd love to come providing there is a proper bed to use. Don't have camping gear and don't want any - my day of camping are long gone. I can't deal with the hangovers resultant from drinking enough to sleep in a field  Anyone else doing hot...

Re: Great Yorkshire rally 2019

Sad to say we can't make it as we'll be bikeless in Malta :bawl

Given the talk of an alternative venue, did you change? Folk need to know for B&Bs.

We haven't been able to find a new venue so ours is probably not on this year, unless anyone can suggest a venue. :(

South West Rally

Since Dawn pissed everyone of last year and it was made clear CB and myself that many wouldn't come if it was at the same venue we have given up on the Wagon & Horses. Problem is I have been stupidly busy and have been unsuccessful with trying to find a new venue. Unless somewhere else can be fo...

Re: Did Kawasaki use non setting gasket

I think they used Kawabond, which is very similar to 3 bond.

I personally swear by Wellseal.

I hate to think KHI would have missed out a knock pin

Re: Z1000H value

I personally wouldn't give more than a grand for it as you'll need to spend some serious bucks on it to make it halfway nice. What you have there is effectively a MKII with lots of bits missing but H numbers? There's a lot of original bits missing if you wanted to make it standardish. GPZ B FI is mu...
