The charging system on classic bikes is incompatible with lithium ion batteries.

Re: 2018 10TH GREAT YORKSHIRE RALLY

Another fabulous rally! Thanks so much to Phil & Sandie for all their hard work in organising another triumphant rally. Shame the soft northern pussies wouldn’t join Hobbo on a rideout! We tough Southerners were raring to go

Re: Z650 Hydraulic Clutch?

I have bought another final drive case to attack! I have also ordered a 900R master cylinder and slave. I doubt the slave will be suitable but it will give me a piston diameter to work from and a piston in the unlikely event it's not fucked! Watch this space

Re: Z650 Hydraulic Clutch?

Many thanks for that. I'm a member of the triples forum so I have posted the question.

Given her astonishing ability to break clutch cables on whatever bike she rides, I like the idea of a hydraulic clutch, the the triple version sounds a lot easier and hopefully cheaper

Z650 Hydraulic Clutch?

Does anyone know if there has ever been a hydraulic clutch kit made for the Z650? CB is struggling with hers now and I am considering making a hydraulic clutch actuator for her, but it would be great if there was a tried and tested system out there to make my life easier; either yo copy or better st...

Re: ELR CR29 setup?

Thanks for your reply Chris. The bike is at the dyno currently and the guy there says it's absolutely miles out. I balanced the carbs up when I fitted them with my electronic vacuum gauges and didn't have any issues; easier than Mikuni flat slides to be honest. I don't like bell mouths for road bike...

ELR CR29 setup?

I have a friend who I got a set of CR29s for his '93 Z1000R2. It's running like a bag of shite with the baseline setup - really lean on the needles and mega rich on the mains. I don't know what needles were fitted, but the mains are 128s which would explain the richness on the large throttle opening...

ZRX1200R 2005 Candy Green

Selling one of my Rexs. I have put it on flea bay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163039900273?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649 but would look more favourably on an offer from a PUM, though I obviously can't afford to give away, particularly given what I paid for it's stable mate!

I'm planning on joining the green theme; I need to run The Beast in so, so a 250mile round trip should help nicely :D

Won't be abusing my Kwakas if it's pissing down mind!

Be great to see some of you fine ladz again after the grim winter :D

Nissin 4 pot calipers

I want a set of Nissin four pots for my latest Rex. Ones off a Blandit, Gixxer etc would be fine.

Anyone help?
