Just found this build post and WOW!!! I have a real soft spot for these old 6's having owned a Z13. What you're doing to this CBX is fantastic and I look forward to further posts and ultimately a vid of her running and back on the road.

A revival of an old thread here due to what I think might be a similar problem? Your thoughts and advice would be much appreciated Bought my '82 LTD 1000 last year but it's been sat doing sweet FA due to time and finances. I took her to get MOT'd yesterday and she passed with a couple of advisories....

Shocks for an '82 Z1000 LTD
I'm going to be looking for a pair of decent Hagon or Koni twin shocks for my 1982 KZ1000 LTD sometime soon. Missed a pair on here last week and I'm kicking myself!

A frequently re-curing one is the CDI box which is a simple fix with a Dyna system, cap and taps and of course the scourge which are; duff coils. AL Yup, CDI and coils could well be an issue. One of the systems that's come to light when researching is Boyer Bransden. I've yet to do any searches on ...
