Esso super premium unleaded petrol (97 + octane) does not contain ethanol, BP possibly not also. See their sites for more info. i tested the Esso fuel and no ethanol was there. Ethanol is what causes the problems on seals and sticky deposits. There is no legal requirement to add 5% ethanol to 97+ oc...
