Re: Rickman Kawasaki 900
Blimey , that's an assortment . The big bracket is mounted to the plate on the headstock , the fairing bolts down to it , the 2 ears hold the headlamp , the cut away hole is for the wiring loom . The triangular plate is an engine mount , the rest appear to be home made . You're missing 2 large brack...

Re: Carb balancing
YAY. IV'E GOT IT . Thanks warren3200gt , good explanation. Of course , the volume in each float bowl will be different because each float will have a different displacement. I know the recommended way to do it , done it many times . I was trying to re-invent the wheel . I gotta disagree with Adrian ...

Re: Carb balancing

Re: Z900a4 servicing Leicester/Northants
Hi Chris , as a retired (car) technician I can tell you that most times a service only involves paying someone vast amounts of money just to look at your vehicle (bike) . You can do this yourself , check it over , does it work ? is it seized ? is it loose ? is it bent ? has it fallen off ? OK , some...

Carb Jetting
Gentlemen , advice please. Bike is a 1980 Rickman with a 1979 Mk 2 Z 1000 engine . Originally supplied to Germany , which may or may not be relevant. Carbs are 28 's non - pumper standards. Original jetting was as per Canadian models , I can't find info on German models . 4 into 1 and pod filters. W...
