Me , I've got one . Factory built using Mk 2 1000 engine , registered early 1980 . Anything I can help with , just ask , and you can never have too many springs ???

504 bracket is on ebay . Your best bet for parts is the Rickman facebook page.

Blimey , that's an assortment . The big bracket is mounted to the plate on the headstock , the fairing bolts down to it , the 2 ears hold the headlamp , the cut away hole is for the wiring loom . The triangular plate is an engine mount , the rest appear to be home made . You're missing 2 large brack...

YAY. IV'E GOT IT . Thanks warren3200gt , good explanation. Of course , the volume in each float bowl will be different because each float will have a different displacement. I know the recommended way to do it , done it many times . I was trying to re-invent the wheel . I gotta disagree with Adrian ...

Okaaaaay . But when you set the fuel level you don't take float buoyancy into consideration . You measure fuel height against the float bowl , presuming that the float bowls have equal volume then you are measuring the volume of fuel , which should be consistent across the carbs . Is it practical to drain each float bowl separately, compare the volume in each carb, and then determine float height balance ?
