Re: Z1R Fuel cap vent

Hi Shoz I had the same symptons with the large(20 l) fuel tank of my Z1R. When the engine was hot and the fueltank recieved heat there was a certain pressure inside that allowed me to keep driving. Re: A4 air box

Hi guys it doesn't end by only changing the batterybox...you'll need a metal strap to secure the battery, two little pieces to hold the side panel(the top rear but of the Z900A4 side panel sits in the plastic toolbox and the bottom one in a metal bracket)) a Z1000A right hand side panel and maybe ot...

Re: Z1B Restoration

Hi Wrigers it's one of the few weak points of the "bulletproof" engine... The problem seems to be that only that pin limits, prevents, the movement from left to right of the cranckshaft. The problem starts with the pin becoming loose. When the pin isn't corrected and tightened the pressure...

Re: Z1B Restoration

Hi Wrigers bad news, very bad news...but it can be solved. The cracks can be welded but it will have to be done by a real craftsman who has the correct equipment and a lot of skills. I've been reading about it on the German forum where the same thing happened and it could be repaired. They wrote tha...

Re: Z 1000 St E2

Hi Avon
the black/white wire gives the minus to the horn. The switch block itself needs to be mounted on the handlebar in order to be connected with the minus of the battery. Did you try the horn button with the switch block mounted or dismounted?
Bike electricity...strange thing...

Re: Z1000A2 - engine out...well trying
