Re: '78 z1R question about Ballast Resistors
This what google has to say about it. "Is a ballast resistor necessary? And while ignition coil life may be compromised without a resistor, the additional secondary voltage (at the spark plug) is increased which generally improves power. So does your application require a ballast resistor? Qui...

'78 z1R question about Ballast Resistors
Hello Team: I have recently upgraded to Accel 3 Ohm coils/wires and a Dyna-S ignition. I get two different opinions. One is to remove (loopback) the two Ballast resistors? One is to leave them alone? Does anyone know for sure? Both the '78 and the '80 model z1R have these Ballast Resistors. The '78 ...

Rickman Kawasaki CR900
Hello Team:
I have a '75 z1. I have been thinking of a complete revamp. I was thinking of making it something close to a Rickman or maybe even finding parts to make a real Rickman CR900. Does anyone have any links to digital manuals or information that might help me?
Thanks, CwiseGUY

Loking for Date of Manufacture / Build Date for '75 z1 with NO VIN Sticker
I have a question: I have a '75 z1. VIN is Z1F-62941. Frame is missing the sticker. I want to put a new sticker on. I have NO build date. What might be the build date for this VIN? Some say for this VIN it might be 9/74 or 12/74 or 1/75 or 3/75?
