KZ900 A4 Slow starter
Hi hope someone can help please. I have a 1976 A4 which when I got it it was running rough. I have done a top end rebuild on it, the head gasket had gone. Its all back together but I have this problem. I have a good battery only a year old, fully charged reads 12.8 volts. When I connect it up it wil...

Re: KZ900 seat grab rail wanted rough one ok
A new one is only £45 Yes but if someone had an old one they were throwing out for a few pounds I wouldn't be wasting money on a new one. I will be taking chrome off and welding a larger frame above it that will hold my camping gear, so will be just painted afterwards anyway. If no one has one then...

KZ900 seat grab rail wanted rough one ok
Hi want a rear seat grab rail to fit my KZ900, a rough/rusty one is ok as I am going to use it as a base to make a rack to carry some camping gear. It will get painted so any condition as long as its still strong and not rusting through. Sort of thing you'd probably consider chucking out is fine! Th...

Measuring valve clearances is this normal???
So having rebuilt and fitted the cylinder head on my KZ900 A4 I am finding that the valve clearances change every time I rotate the engine and it's driving me mad. Valve guides are new as are a couple of valves. Everything has been cleaned and cleaned again. Everything was well oiled when assembled,...

Dyna coils help?
I've got a couple of green 3.0 ohm Dyna coils date stamped 1997. I've tested them and they should be: Primary resistance 2.9 to 3.2 Secondary 13.5 to 14.5 One of them only has 2.4 primary. Would they be ok to use do you think, or is that to far out and are they to old? Let me know your thoughts plea...

Head gaskets
Are the pattern head gaskets sold by Z Power for a 76 KZ900 any good or do I need to bite the bullet and buy OEM ones?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Wiring guru help please!
Hello mate; Now it gets a bit awkward - there's no sign of blue wiring on the RH switches although there is a blue-white related to the lighting circuit on the US/Canadian version, and also the Z1000 switchgear. Any chance you've got an import/non-original RH switch? TTFN Grog Thanks The RH switchg...
