Help! Points cam sleeve off advance/retard unit

I am looking to get the points cam sleeve (arrowed in red) that goes on the advance/retard unit on a A4.

If someone has removed one to fit electronic ignition maybe?

The rotor needs swapping for a cam though if you want to run points.

Thanks, is it possible to get the rotor separately, do you know who would sell them, thanks very much for your help

A4 air box silencer inner baffle

Has anyone got one of these inner baffles from the air box silencer at all? I need to have all the measurements of it so I can make one. Unless someone has a spare kicking about?

TIA

Re: Finishes for restoration projects

Hi thewormman To my knowledge there's no list of what part needs which % of gloss, it's a matter of experience. I know that in the Z1R book (written by Tony Sculpher), there's a list of parts for the Z1R. I use the epoxy 2 component paint RAL9005 (black) (North Sea paints) from Cape Coatings. I thi...

I also have a Z650 b1 which I have owned since new. Hi sorry only just seen the latest replies. What I ha...

Re: Finishes for restoration projects

Hi thewormman originally the frames and frame parts were painted, not powder coated. Most of the frame parts received a satin to gloss black (80% gloss) paint. Some parts like the front light and the rear light bracket were mat to satin (20 to 30% gloss) painted Brake parts, handlebar switches,...w...

Finishes for restoration projects

About to start on my resoration. What are peoples thoughts on the finish for components? Powder coat or painted on things like the frame? I want it to be original but I also want the best if I decide to sell in the future when I get the bug to restore another one. I know someone will say personal ch...

Re: Just bought this

Oh, and your frame number is A4/A5. Pete Check your engine number too, it may have been changed at some point but could well be original. I've got a z1000 and a z1r which both have z1b engines. Just what was available at the time. Thanks engine number Z1E114*** so quite a way off the frame number Z...
