Re: Petcock/Fuel tap
Hi, that sounds like a very familiar story. I bought a replacement petcock a while ago and yes it was leaking like a sieve when turned on a few weeks ago. It looks like it had been leaking previously when used since there were marks on the K&N filters from the petrol. I located the problem to t...

I replaced it with a non OEM part from Z Power. After a year or so, the replacement started leaking. Replaced the o seals last year and all wa...

Re: IMD Pistons
IMD supplied pistons did a rebore on my Z1R last year, I needed job doing quickly so I could rebuild and take bike to IOM classic TT - they did it in 3 days. So far all is good, though only covered 350 miles so far. Father and son, nice people to deal with.

Re: Rebore /Pistons
OK - so I went with IMD for new pistons (+0.5mm) and they did the rebore. 350 miles in, all is good, my Z1R never sounded so good!
Will post update when more miles ridden....

Re: Rebore /Pistons
Many folks on here used them and this is the brand that Z-Power sell. IMD offered a discount, but not sure it was ever made formal? Thanks, I'm going to contact IMD and see if they will give discount - piston kit advertised on their site is a lot cheaper than z power anyway, and if you say that the...
