Hi Z1streetfighter71 and Philippe, yes it seems like Leboncoin dont allow UK peeps. My brother lives in Amsterdam so he is now on the case for me Fingers crossed I will soon own a genuine service manual!
Thanks to you both for taking the time to reply, much appreciated!
Hi chaps, the battery on my ST has died :sad - so been looking for replacement. The present one is a Yuasa YB16L-B which I presume is standard fitment? There seems to be a couple of alternative types about these days e.g. Yuasa YTX20L-BS which is an AGM type. Is it ok to switch battery types? i.e. c...
Hi GPZ592 Just want to say what a fantastic job you have done on your GPz550! One of my favourite bikes of the 80's Great mods have made it so much better than new Thoroughly enjoyed watching your rebuild, well done!
Hi Moizeau, for the shafts I used hardened steel shaft from RS Components, which is probably the same type as Phillipe mentioned. Hi Chaps, does anyone know where I could buy a grab rail/handle for my Z1000ST? Thought I had found one on Z Power site but it's for the MK2, which apparently is different. Haven't had one on mine since I bought it, and either it's me getting weaker since my last ST 34 years ago or something is diff...
Hi Bill, the resto coming on great - a credit to you! One question: what did you use to clean up the crankcases, barrels etc? Have you lacquered yem after or left as is?

Thank you for the warm welcome guys! Paul J - the reg is PNV 910V - is that the one you once owned? Phillipe - five ST's - thats great! Would like to own another at some point - this one to keep more or less standard and another to 'experiment with'. I do like the one you did with the Z1R cockpit fa...
Hello all at Z1OC. I would just like to introduce myself. My first 'proper bike' was a Z1000ST way back in 1984 as a teenager. For some reason I sold the bike the same year and instantly regretted it. Over the years had many bikes, mainly Kwaks, but this year finally came full circle and bought anot...
