It does have the clean air system, never thought about that......and yes I do need to check the jet sizes, plenty to go at now, hopefully get it sorted, thankyou guys :D

yeah I've just been looking at the airbox setup, the silencer is missing, the carbs I bought secondhand and are European ones but I cannot remember the jet sizes, should have written them down somewhere

full Dyna kit fitted with coils and leads, the carb kits are gaskets and Orings, it has new airbox rubbers on with clips but the airbox itself is open at the back as in I can see the filter, I thought there might be something missing but not sure what, the lid is fine and to be honest I reckon the a...

Hi all, the problems are it popping and farting all the time and a range of tickovers from cutout to 3000rpm depending on how hard you slam the throttle shut, I fitted a full Dyna ignition system which achieved nothing, carbs are balanced and have new seal kits in, all the compression readings are g...

Hi all, been farting on with my 79 KZ1000 for ages now and cannot get it to run right, where is best to get a set of new carbs, tried secondhand to no avail so time to splash the cash, thanks in advance :blah

Evening all......i'm probably one of the ones getting wrong for not filling in my profile thingies and introducing myself, what can i say....busy man with a crap memory and a massive wrangle with DVLA to distract me.......they currently will not register my KZ1000 b1, to date it's taken seven weeks ...
