Hi guys. Im just about finished the rebuild of my 1979 z1r , but im having a problem trying to find a seat or a seat base . If anyone out there can help me , or has one for sale please get in touch , THANKS JOHN.

Rebuild

Hi Philippe. I will post pictures as i go along with the build, but i only get Saturdays to work in the garage, got a prblem as i have an oil leak getting onto the stator. , so thats a step backwards.

Hi Gary. I used SIMONIZ satin black, heat resistant spay paint you can get it from euro parts.its about £10

Steering lock

Hi Dave z1r, got no other locks on the bike
Spoke to( compo) on this site and after speaking to him i have drilled it out, so im now locking for a lock set for a 1979 Z1R . If anyone out there has them please get in touch .ps dave thanks for taken the time to read my post john.

Steering lock

I restored a Z1R ('78 D1) myself in 2014-2015 and some parts seem to be made of unobtanium...I had to buy them allover Europe and North America...not to frighten you, only to warn you if you want it c...

good afternoon, can any one out there help me please , im rebuilding a 1979 Z1R its going well so far, but im struggling to find certain parts IE the foam damper for around the clocks and the complete lock set. if any one knows where i can these item please let me know THANKS JOHN.
