A rectifier is a semi conductor, it works one way but not the other, not adjustable either

I have a charging voltage of 15.4 V at 5000 revs...is this OK?

Battery fried
Battery fried after receiving 18v for the first miles running in this country. So, battery and voltage regulator required.
Valley batteries are close to me but the regulator? New type reg and diode unit or original?
Any recommendations?

Apparently the carbs are not balanced, I thought my motor man had done it...he though I had done.
I only have the 2 cylinder carbtune , will I have to get the 4 cylinder or is someone close to me who would volunteer/rent the correct item

Hi guys, Been running the bike a few weeks ( weather permitting) and I can hear a low frequency rumbling at the low end of the engine (stethascope) its not always there and the bike appears to run OK. It's had a top end refresh and the camchain is the correct length. The cam adjuster was broken and ...

Also, no fasteners showing, made a small stainless backplate and stuck plate on either double sided Gorilla tape...no holes in the plate
