Re: RETRO Z1B
Its got full Motogadget Bluetooth electronics system with LED lighting, just wanted it to be reliable spent far too much time by the side of the road waiting for a mate with a van to pick me up in the past. I have an early Motogadget system and have been playing around with fitting it with a Mosfet...

Re: RETRO Z1B
The exhaust has always been a bug bear, I don't really like the kerker or harris low slung pipes but can't justify spending 2k + on a cyclone 4 into 1 from Sanctuary in Japan which I would really like.

Shim adjustment
Hello, Having shimmed up my head on my Z1B I find one shim needs to be 1.9mm thick, all the rest were 2mm +, I have been advised this is too thin and would not
fit it but what is the solution?

Shim adjustment
Hello, excuse my ignorance in this matter but I've always had a shop do this, now the shop's closed and it seems no one's interested or got the tools anymore. I've just rebuilt the engine on my 1975 Z1B and after grinding all the valves in and fitting a couple of new valve guides most of the shim cl...

Rubber Bits
Hi, just after some advice, I've just dumped last years oil and filter to find a number of small black hard rubber bits luckily picked up by the filter. I have a PMC auto cam chain adjuster
fitted but would like opinions to where they may be from
Thanks

OIL WARNING LIGHT FLICKER Z1B
Hello,
I was recently checking the head bearings and happened to have the engine running when I noticed the oil light flicker whilst rocking the bike. When ticking over
and riding there is nothing. I am using a semi synthetic 10/40 oil, would mineral oil be better?
Thanks
Stinky

Re: APE Extra Clutch Plate Kit
Hello, thanks for the responses, I fitted cheap plates and kept the std springs when rebuilt 4 years ago and under heavy load it slips. I am going to replace and can find EBC heavy duty plates and springs on Ebay for about £70.00. I am no lunatic on a bike especially a 45 yr old one so will probably...
