Re: Selling my Z based specials.....
Both bikes sold. The Martin reached a number i was pleased with and the buyer has paid to Car & Classic escrow account pending hand over which should happen Friday. The Croz replica sold for a number that I was a little disappointed with (£7k) but that's life. To date there has been no contact f...

Selling my Z based specials.....
Hello all. Not been around on here for a while. Wanted to just share with the Z1 community that I am parting with a couple of my bikes as I no longer have space for them and they have become rather expensive ornaments. As they are "specials" I decided to put them to auction via Car & C...

Re: Grant Saunders frame
I had the same with a Moto Martin frame. Chain came off and sawed through lower frame rail. Martin frames are incredibly thin walled and have to be brazed. Very few people around that braze but i can thoroughly recommend Pete Sutton. He's based just outside Bath. 07966 582434. He not only repaired m...

Re: Cassington bike night north west of Oxford Monday 24th June 19
I was there and for the first time on a Z. They actually let me on the green! Didn't hang around too long as when it gets cold it becomes a pig to start and i dont like asking folks to push. Some very nice stock Z1s I noticed. Think my Croz replica was the only modded one. I must take it out more of...

Re: Z1100R For Sale - Genuine Eddie Lawson
Well it appears that I will be advertising my Z1100R again! The person who bid on my bike and 'bought it' never called me or came to collect it, he has now also stopped responding to emails. Never experienced this before and really surprised because it's someone on this forum as well! Welcome to eB...

Re: Harris Build
It looks very good. I took mine out yesterday for the first time this year and the damn thing has nearly crippled me. Combined riding position and rock hard suspension has put something out in my back. Can’t move now!

Re: Suzuki GT380?.
My first "big" bike after i passed my test on a XL125 in 1983. Bought it for £50 out of someones front garden. Rattlecan paint job and away i went. I remember ground clearance being an issue on corners. I still have the scars on my foot where the road ground away my trainers. KPZC2317.jpg ...

Dyna S ignition
Dyna S ignition removed from my Z900. What you get is as per pictures. Fully functioning and only removed because my 1260 motor runs such a high compression that it needs a custom map that one can only do with Dyna 2000. I dont have the instructions but i think they are a download from the Dynajet w...

Re: Z1000A Delkavic exhaudt
I had the sports / performance version (not the megaphone style) fitted to my Katana. The system was relatively cheap and fitted well. Quality was good. Where it falls down badly was performance. Even with an air corrector kit in the carbs the engine was down on power and struggled to pull cleanly. ...
