Mitsuba SM-220

Starter Motor

12v 0.7kw

lots better than the Kwak ones unless you get a 4 brush from a later model. You may have to remove some metal from the Gearbox cover if you retain that otherwise straight fit.

get some car leads from scrappers - free, you only want the ends, new copper connectors and a big long length of taylor lead - I bought some from a guy advertising on EBay Motors, make yourself a crimping tool to use in the vice and make your own. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Taylor-45403-Black-8MM-Spiro...

Your pilot jets are too small at 17.5, go to 20 or 22.5, as said 25s are too big, run 1 to 1 1/4 turns out on the air screws.

I'd make the bits of heat shrink longer and if the box is steel not plastic also think of a few Orings over the screw heads to ensure that it won't wear through the coating in time.

I'm thinking of going CNC - so I can sit and watch it turn out beauty in alloy, unfortunately those with the capacity to do yokes etc seem to take up space disproportionate to their capacity so it looks like manual for me!
