Clutch jump

KZ1000 1978. When i let the clutch out from a standing start it starts to feed in ok but then seems to jump the last bit. ( sorry if this is not a very good explanation) Rather than feeding smoothly all the way out. Is there a known problem with the clutch ? anyone have any ideas.
Thanks

Cam chain adjustment

Hi all, I have a KZ1000 1978, it has been fitted with the new type do it yourself cam chain adjuster as opposed to the original self adjusting type.
Can anyone recommend the best way of setting it up correctly as i have no info on it ?
Many Thanks

REV counter

Hi all, i`ve recently bought a kz1000 1978. I was told that the clocks were not original, which is fine, but how can i check if the rev counter is correct for my bike ? it`s just that it seems to be reading a lot faster than the engine sounds. Is there a number printed somewhere or some other means ...

Re: Black Plugs

Thanks for the replies. I put the electronic ignition in myself so i`m pretty certain that the connections are good , but now you have mentioned it i will check that out. I did wonder whether 15 pilots might be the answer, it`s nice to have someone else suggest the same thing, i shall buy some and g...
