Another GPZ1100B1 I’d be happy to take along.

Air Correctors
Hi, I have a GPZ1100 converted to Z1000J carbs. It runs a bit rough and lumpy below 4K revs. From what I have read it is because I have pods so I need air correctors. I was gonna have a go at making some myself and in another post I read they need a 0.6mm hole. So in the pic below it shows the back ...

Fitting a rivet chain link
Hi, So I’m fitting a new o ring 630 chain to a GPZ. The chain came with a split link and rivet link. I’m fitting the rivet link as I believe it is safer for a bigger bike. I’m using this tool on the rivet link 07A76DC5-0B72-4995-8606-845D3E991D7E.jpeg And after doing it as tight as I can it looks li...

Fuel level sensor
Hi, I’m after a fuel level sensor. The bike is a GPZ1100B1 but it’s converted to carbs. The tank I’ve got for it was on a Z1100R so has a petrol tap and the fuel sensor is different. It might be the same sensor as a GPZ B2 and maybe even a Z1000J. It’s the sensor with 6 mounting holes not 5. I’ll al...

Speedo on GPZ import
Hi,
I’m rebuilding a US import GPZ1100B1 and I’ve just realised the Speedo only goes up to 85 !!!!
It’s an electronic speedo, not a cable one.
Anything I can do to make this more realistic ?

Re: New GPZ1100B1 project arrived today
Finally after many hours it’s starting to look like a bike again. Had some mates up from Hastings at the weekend for a bike rebuild, Paella and lots of beer. A pile of finished bits turned into something that looks like a bike again C4E95355-EB35-430F-983C-FAE1E726E6A0.jpeg 123522D4-CC4C-4125-87DF-B...

Re: GPZ seat and helmet lock
Hi @paul I never had a reply from my PM about the locks you have for sale, are they still available @Mike, thank you so much for your kind offer to re code the locks for me but my destructive impatient side took over. However this time it wasn’t destructive :) I managed to dismantle my seat lock and...

Re: GPZ seat and helmet lock
Thanks Paul and Mike.
I might be interested in them Paul if I can do what Mike says.
How do you recode them Mike. I don’t want to try this and break them.

Looking really good.
It’s exciting getting to the stage where the finished bits start going back together

GPZ Wheel Refurb
Hi, I want to get a pair of GPZ1100 B1 wheels refurbished in black. They have a polished rim and spoke sides. I guess my options are someone to powder coat and diamond cut them or to polish, mask and spray them. The only company I have found for this is Lepsons who do the diamond cutting approach. T...
