Re: Z1000A1 rear master cylinder leaks but with new seals
I think the seal in question comes with the piston and if I remember correctly ZP do list both a pattern one and an OEM option which is quite expensive. I’ve used parts from ZP and Wemoto and I’ve never had any problems but if you feel the need to purchase OEM it comes at a cost and ZP can hopefully...

Re: Head Gaskets
I participate in a number of different forums for the different bikes I own and I find this one to be one of the best for help and advice. Having never purchased the pattern gasket sets in question, I for one am unable to comment on the quality. Maybe you should purchase the gaskets and form your ow...

Really nice bike!
Re: Tank Hole
I think you have a somewhat larger problem than you anticipate as in my experience it’s highly unlikely that there will only be one hole and I suggest that there will be other areas of corrosion inside the tank that will be close on breaking through in time. I’m not suggesting a liner as I really do...

Re: z1000st seat base rubber dampers missing ?
In cases like this I usually get a chunk of blu tac or kids plasticine and stick a chunk over the hole on the seat base and then close the seat, re open and measure the squashed thickness remaining. You can assess the size and shape by looking at the rails that the plasticine blobs made contact with.
