Is the seat recovered or original? My B1 came out to play last week and I’m happy with it apart from the seat cover fit, it’s not quite right at the back end!

I would say it was more likely the gear change shaft seal!

I think the seal in question comes with the piston and if I remember correctly ZP do list both a pattern one and an OEM option which is quite expensive. I’ve used parts from ZP and Wemoto and I’ve never had any problems but if you feel the need to purchase OEM it comes at a cost and ZP can hopefully...
