Carburettor Bits KZ900 1976

Missing an original float bowl screw with collar washer and a pilot jet spring. Does anyone have these they can spare? I know they are small things but they are for an otherwise original bike.

KZ900 Carburettor Setup - Surrey or South London

Hi can anyone point me in the right direction to get the carburettors on my KZ900 overhauled and setup. Preferably someone reasonably local, Surrey or South London. Any suggestions please?

Re: 5/8 Master Cylinder - 1976 Z900

I found one from Legends that looks the same as what is fitted to my 76 KZ900. Has anyone fitted one of these and can comment?

Re: 5/8 Master Cylinder - 1976 Z900

My preference is too keep the bike original as possible as it is un-restored and low mileage. The caliper may be functionally much better as it is new but it just doesn't look right enough which is why I am hoping to find a good used one. Many thanks though. It is so cheap I may use it until I can f...

Re: 5/8 Master Cylinder - 1976 Z900

Thanks for the advice. Is there particular supplier you can point me to as I have seen a few for sale but always thought reproduction were of less quality or not correct for my bike. They seem to be generic stating they will fit all Z1s from 1973 to 1977. I want one that looks as if it was intended ...

5/8 Master Cylinder - 1976 Z900

HI I am looking to buy a 5/8 Master Cylinder for a Twin Brake Setup for a Z900. Prefer an original item rather than a reproduction. Also need the right hand side cable bracket Brake Pipe bracket.JPG and a twin brake pipe splitter Brake Pipe Splitter.JPG , I have the caliper and twin disks. I would p...

Keep both, that's what I'm doing.

Sounds like a plan to me.

Re: RHS UPPER AND LOWER EXHAUSTS - 1976 Z900

The left hand side is unaffected. It is bizarre. The left exhaust do not have any of the corrosion the right hand side has. The bike has been stored since the 70's and only covered 3472 miles from new so maybe the RHS came in contact to damp air during storage. I don't mind replicas but if i can get...

Re: RHS UPPER AND LOWER EXHAUSTS - 1976 Z900

Many thanks for posting the link. Most appreciated. The 1976 KZ900 had a removable baffle which a 1973 to 1975 Z1 doesn't. If it wasn't over a third of the price of a complete replica set I would still probably go for it but because it is a) not quite correct and b) on the expensive side I am going ...
