Re: Z1B Rear wheel and other parts

Hi Freebird, I might be able to help you with this as I have a rear wheel hub. It differs from most Z1 hubs in that the holes for securing the cush drive rubbers are in the middle of the 6 sections rather than on one side. Apparently, these were fitted to H2s and some Z1s and I've seen pictures of t...

Re: Front brake master cylinder may be faulty

Hi Glenn,
The only time I experienced a problem identical to what you describe was when I tried using a single disk master cylinder which has a 9/16" piston with a twin caliper set up. Twin disks need a 5/8" master cylinder. Is this what you bought?

Having recently re-built my Z1B forks, I think you've got it right.

Re: Z900 a4 brake plate catching hub

I have an H2 hub which is dimensionally identical to a Z1 if you're struggling to find one.

Re: Front master cylinder

I have this master cylinder which I was told many years ago came from a Z1R. Please take a close look at the photos and confirm if it is of interest.

Re: Mystery electrical box

I'm guessing here but I think it's a crude alarm device. The aluminium cylindrical device in picture 1 could be a mercury switch or similar to detect movement of the bike. Are you brave enough to disconnect it all? :-)

Re: Wiseco K1260 z900/1000 piston kit

I have a Z1B cylinder barrel bored to 72mm that would suit these pistons if anyone is interested. It has had oversize liners fitted so would accommodate 73mm pistons. No broken fins.

Re: Crash Bars for Z1000A1

Hi Jacko,

I have a set for a Z1B which looks dimensionally the same as your Z1000A. They will need rechroming and I can send photos if you're interested.

Z1 rear wheel

Does anyone have a Z1 rear wheel (drum brake) they are willing to sell? Actually, I only need the hub so damaged rims, spokes etc. are OK. I hope someone has one hiding in their shed. Paul
