Struggling to track MOTOARBO down. Looks like they're no longer in business?

Harris 4-1 Silencer

Does anyone have a well used Harris 4-1 silencer they could part with? What I'm really after is the chrome 'finisher' in the back end of the silencer, so the condition of the silencer itself is not important. Cheers!

Re: Z1000H with NOID lite

How did you get on with testing the engine temp sensor Martin, (test 13 page 31) and is it the correct one? They are NLA but here's a new one https://www.ebay.com/itm/265697936071. Do all the other tests in the set check out OK? AL Yes - the engine temp sensor is fine, but thanks for the link. In t...

Z1000H with NOID lite

I'm still chasing an issue on my 'H' where it randomly cuts out when warm. I've fitted a break-out harness in the no.1 injector feed and a 'NOID' lite (non-operating injector detection...?) Worth its weight in gold! When bike is running ok, light flickers dimly in time with injector pulsing - all go...

Re: Electrical fault or fuse ?

I had a very similar issue on my Z1000H a month or so ago. A switched 12V wire coming down from the ignition switch into the main harness had somehow broken. It's a bit of a rogue brown wire that looks like an afterthought as it runs alongside the large multi-pin connectors in the headlight. Result ...

Re: Fuel pressure regulator

Hi mate, Just saw your post. I bought an adjustable regulator a while back while trying to sort out issues on my Z1000H. it worked, and was adjustable, but didn't solve my problem. If you search for it on eBay you'll find it - finest kit from China, £35. It appears quite robust, and fits relatively ...

Sure thing. Just keen to get some mileage out of the 'new' coils I fitted a couple of years ago!

Re: Z1000H Problems...

Looks like I could fit the Dyna S system along with the new coils I fitted (from Z-power around 2 years ago) if I retain the ballast resistor. Resistor looks ok and measures 2 Ohms. I guess I could ditch the resistor if I upgrade to Dynatek coils in the future?

Re: Z1000H Problems...

Ok - I'll look into the Dyna S system, although I did replace coils a couple of years ago. Carmo charge £178 for a complete rebuild of the module with all new components into the original casing, which doesn't sound too bad?

Re: Z1000H Problems...

Thanks all! When it cuts out, it's like you've hit the kill switch. Fuel pump, starter, lights and everything ok. I've now plugged a spare spark plug in one of the HT. leads, and there's no spark. After much cranking I start getting a weak spark and it will then slowly pick up on the 3 other cylinde...
