I've gone the other way, having sold my blue Z1b a couple of years ago. I've now got an R5 350 Yam. Previously owned RD 250, 350 and 400 between 1981 and 1986.

Chris, my Z1b has Konis on it that seem to work well. There's an invoice for them from 1995 in the paperwork so they last well too.
