Re: Z1100 firing on three
Just to finish off then, I started the bike on the old battery and took it out for a ride and petrol, when I got back the resting voltage of the battery was only 12.7v. So not dead but not the best. Not sure what the cranking voltage was but it sounded much better when boosted from my car. New batte...

Re: Z1100 firing on three
Thanks for the reply, I checked the coil using the info in the workshop manual and it checked out OK. Cut back the HT leads by about 10mm and it fired up and ran on all four. I think I killed the battery when she cut out as it would not restart when I turned it off. New Motobatt on order from Wemoto...

Z1100 firing on three
So for the first time in absolute ages, the Z1100 let me down. Started on choke as it always does, top of my road choke fully in and running well. Four miles later it was definitley not happy, pulled over and it cut out, tried to restart didn't want to play. Long story short, AA got me restarted, cy...

thanks for the heads up on the exhaust system. I've emailed Marving for info on the 4 into 2 system.
Thanks again for your help.
Davy.
I can recommend Marvin for quality and fit. You can still change the oil filter without the exhaust getting in the way.

Rob The numbers on it are Kawasaki number is 23007-1018 Stanley number on the glass is 001-1843 It's a brand new bare shell, with a hole for the pilot bulb. £50...

Headlight identification please
Having moved house I've found some odds and sods that I don't need.
I have a headlight which I think is for the B1 GPZ1100 and the Z1300'
Don't know if it is UK spec though.
Kawasaki number is 23007-1018
Stanley number on the glass is 001-1843

Re: Z1100 silencers
I put a complete Marvin set up on my 1100A,
I kept the original headers and bought a brand new pair of silencers, but they are not for sale.
I do have an unmatched pair as well, one new and one good but used that I would sell.
