Re: 1100R 75mm PISTON

Eastwood racing can supply individual pistons if they are wisecos.

However check the valve cutouts on the replacements.
The recent sets of Wiseco piston valve cutouts are to high on the exhaust side.
Wiseco know about the issue but have not withdrawn the faulty batch.

Re: Harris Build

The two bolts are slightly longer than the std ones as the top of the threads were weak. Using slightly longer ones enabled me to pick up the bottom good threads torque everything down and still leave the option to helicoil them at a later date. I guess it worked as several days at Spa multiple cbt ...

Re: 1000j - GPz 1100 Ignition run on a 75 900

Jonny, The setup I ran was a complete z1000mk2 pickups and mk2 cdi box. There was no GPZ components igniter components involved. It was running carbs so no ecu. The issue was the mk2 cdi has a different advance curve hence the issue I had. At the end of the day the pickups themselves are dumb and wi...

Re: Z1000-J2 Cafe racer project

Nice, looks simple until you study the detail work.
Different and nice job.

Would be interested in seeing how it runs with those big carbs and what jetting you have as I may fit some onto the one I am building but thought 39's might be a tad large.
