As Dave said not the most looked after/desired model but the starting blocks on something cool. Apparently this started life as the same model.

Re: GPz11 Uni front wheel bearings
Thanks chaps. I was over thinking it. I thought the silver lip obscuring the circlip was another clip. Didn't realise it was part of the casting until I saw Angus' pic showing the the two 'lugs' on 41064. The centre sleeve took some persuasion to move out the way to get the drift in and the speedo ...

You might have to give it a few persuasive taps to get it to rotate ...

Re: Kz1000 tyre size
I have a 150 on an aluminum 4.00/18 rim re-spoked onto the original hub with a zephyr 550 swing arm, there is good alignment with the front and rear sprockets and about 1cm of a clearance with the chain.

It would probably be less hassle to have an adapter plate made so you can choose what ones suit you.

Re: Front Lester
As for the diamond cutting aspect of it, block of wood start off with 180 grit sandpaper I just worked the way down to about 1000 to get a decent polish on the aluminium. Wouldn’t even take that long to do.

Re: Front Lester
Not a fortune so probably not worth it. I have a good Z1 one, new discs and speedo drive so I could do some jiggery pokery and fit that one. Personally, I think you’re right. As soon as you step out of the stock bracket as long as it looks good and works well what you got. Sounds like you got the m...

Out of curiosity, how much are you willing to shell out for a 4 hole 19” lester? There is one here in Japan but I’ll need to buy it, ship it to Ireland and then restore it and ship it to you.
