Re: Z1000 A2 seat

Most reproduction seats already have the holes present, are there 2 tapped holes either side of the Z1 latch catch?

Re: rebuilding factory z1r shocks.

Can petrified rubber eyelets be bought? its a roll pin it should knock out Is there any need to secure the strut while unscrewing or compres...

Re: ART KL250 pistons in a z1000

Thats cool, all i wanted to know, makes sense as the 2 engines were a 78 Nebraska A2 and a 78 LTd that had those pistons in them, The KL250c cam out in 78 so maybe that's when the change over happened.

Re: KAWASAKI Z1R handlebars

Trick is to sign up for addresspal and give the proper phone and email. Have it shipped to your home through that, the shipping often works out cheaper :D (the US goes by weight from €15 to €55 but the UK is a flat rate of €6.50 no matter what the weight and its up to 20kg), ask the shipper to incl...

Re: How much to rebuild a Zed Engine

Hi warren3200gt, I decided against stripping the engine at the time as it was running so well, and I've only covered 3000 miles on it in 20 years, so I'd hope that there wouldn't be any nasty surprises hiding inside the casings.
