Re: Replacing frames

Yes, unfortunately it was my crash…..usual story, car stopping at roundabout, then let’s off the brakes…..then stops again. My fault for anticipating that he’d moved on. Hit the back of car, then thought I was doing some tests for Boeing, rolled over the roof etc. no broken bones just a damaged bike...

Re: Replacing frames

Thanks for the replies, gratefully appreciated. It’s going to Motoliner for repair. Head on collision into back of a car. Forks are bent. The headstock is damaged. The top bearing cup has deformed….it’s now pushed forward. Motoliner think its an easy repair.

Re: Z1000A2 frame

Thanks for the reply. It’s going to Motoliner for correction. The headstock has been damaged. They reckon it’s an easy repair and have done a few of them. So, may need a frame but I may not. I’ll come back to you.

Replacing frames

If I have damaged my frame can I just buy another frame and swop over? Do I need a log book with a frame if purchased? Do I transfer my current registration number over? I don’t know any of the rules!!!!

Gpz1100B1 identification

Hi Guys, I have a Gpz1100B1. I’m trying to find out where it came from. I’m trying to find out what chassis identifier is fitted. Is it stamped on headstock, is it a white sticker or is it a riveted plate. Did Gpz’s in different counties have different style of identifier or did they all have the sa...

Re: Z1000 Air filter

I had the same problem even with a new genuine air filter (Z1000A2), let alone the aftermarket one.......they both require a little manipulation via a slight crushing of the top. I couldn't believe i had to do this with a genuine filter but apparently we have too.
