“Bill P Yep a bargain , pity it was cheaper on ebay than to a club member :?? That shitty attitude and comments like the above were the reason I stopped coming here. I think I have a good idea what the “P” stands for. Yep, silly billy doesn’t even realise it did go to a forum member and for less th...

Re: SOLD Z900-A4 Project for Sale

Looking at this I should up my agreed value on my z1a/b from £9k to something above £12k Absolutely you should. My harsh learnings have been: that a reasonable A4 is around £12k with ‘perfect’ ones around £17k. Z1a/b look like £15k upwards and great originals hovering close £20k Of course, conditio...

Re: SOLD Z900-A4 Project for Sale

£8000 or best offer on Ebay. Best Offer Above £8000 on here :?? Silly statement or a fact  Not that I need to explain myself to you... but I’ll type a little slower for you. Nobody put up their hand in any way, shape or form. Nobody said ‘hey, I can’t do £8k can we talk ...’ For the hard of un...

I hope so, the buyer definitely has the ability to fix it and it does keep a zed on the road.

Re: SOLD Z900-A4 Project for Sale

Yep a bargain , pity it was cheaper on ebay than to a club member :?? That’s just a silly statement. It was on eBay for £8k. I’d have loved to get more of course, especially with what it owed me. I took guidance from a dealer in classic bikes and £8k was deemed a reasonable number. If any member ha...

Re: Desperately need help

Afternoon all,
Thanks to everyone who has been helping me with this machine.
I’ve now decided to put it in the for sale section as I’ve run out of talent etc.
Hopefully someone on here picks up a bargain.
Thank you all again for all the help extended to me, I really appreciate it.
Regards
Steve

I’ve bitten off more than I can chew. —-• The bike is for sale as is, best offer over £8k secures. The bike is complete...

Thanks, nearly there now.
I’ll get it fettled at my local bike shop and probably sell it.
I think it needs someone with the know-how to get the best from the old girl. Someone who can tune, service her will love it I’m sure.

Re: Desperately need help

That' s great news Steve, if they have the stock jets in them they shouldn't be far off of right. #3 needs the float level looking at again which is a real pain, but hey I pretty good taking them out now so... Annoying when I had double checked it beforehand but I can see light in the tunnel now. O...
