You could just make a tubular spacer if you dont need the catch.

Re: Offset gearbox sprocket

On the J1 (same gearing ratios in the box as yours) i have an 18T front and a 45T rear sprocket on an 18 inch wheel with a low profile tyre. Its a Zephyr swingarm which i believe it more slender than the XJR and the chain taps the top and bottom of the arm on full deflection. The front sprocket is 5...

The helmet lock has a tubular spacer fixed to it of that approximate size.

Good quality paint stripper will turn it to mush. Just wash with water!

Re: Clutch adjuster J type three bearing.

I read that as COMPlete but in truth i cant see that that can be relevant because they are just assorted COMPonent parts. If you want to increase the leverage (mechanical advantage) you could look at rotating the arm on the mobile part. Needless to say this will require a splat of MIG afterwards to ...

Re: Gpz1100b1 rear sets

Long time ago, far far away blah blah blah, i had a similar issue to overcome. I ended up putting the rear footrests through the bottom eye of the rear shocks to keep the MOT man happy because the bike had a twin seat!!. Silencer was a bit lower then mind you.

Re: Clutch adjuster J type three bearing.

All the gubbins appears to be still available currently!! Nut is 8mm so any non locking half nut would probably do. Alternatively depending on whats tired out; if its the thread on the adjuster peg you could put a washer behind the nut to get the nut onto a more useable part of the thread. Or the sa...

Re: Clutch adjuster J type three bearing.

I spent an hour on the phone with a friend of mine recently (few months back) trying to describe a...

Re: I need help with my st

If the coils cracked i would have a look at the ballast resister. If it has failed / overheated you could measure the voltage at the battery at 3,500 RPM and if high then it may have fizzed the CDI.
