As long as everything functions ok you don't need a jetting change from stock just for the pipe.

That's good news.
Thanks Rob!

Re: Z1000 A1 Carb Jetting

Apologies for jumping in, but my A1 also came with a 4 into 1 (marshall) but with a standard air box.
Is there anything I need to know carb wise?

Thanks

Re: Inox Fasteners-Southampton

Thanks z1bman. That is one busy website  I can only see domed hex heads in imperial, but I'll keep a look out in case they add metric sizes.

Re: Z1000 A1 Head Gasket

Thanks Kev and Gray. Yes, from my searching Vesrah seem to be the best quality alternative when there's no OEM. I think Buzzard mentioned he only uses OEM but he must have been talking about the 900, as head gaskets are available for them. I was wondering that now I have an oversize bore, a skimmed ...

Z1000 A1 Head Gasket

Hello all! My barrels are with IMD Pistons for a 0 5mm oversize rebore. The head is back from Buzzard after a complete overhaul which Included a head skim. With the lack of availability of a OEM head gasket (the two part one) I am going to go with a Vesrah two part head gasket. Is there anything I s...

Re: Inox Fasteners-Southampton

Thanks for the replies chaps! Yes I have used zed parts / Kays / Boltworld etc in the past. The good thing about inox was that they could do bespoke lengths and sizes plus offered a polishing option for their stainless, which was top quality. They also did a domed hex head bolt which I am now after,...

Inox Fasteners-Southampton

Hello! Can I assume Inox of Southampton (John kemp) have ceased trading? I can't find the website. Shame as they did some great stuff with excellent service. Anyone know anything or a supplier that is just as good.
Thanks

Re: calipers which fit Z1 discs

Hi, this is the caliper off my 93 Zephyr 750, looks similar to the one In the attachment. As previously mentioned they were used in many 80s/90s bikes. I bit the bullet and bought new from Cradley a few years ago. Glad I did, no messing with worn old calipers and they bled up straight away. The seco...

Fork tubes - Hard Chrome or?

Hello all, I'm looking to get my pitted forks on the z1000a1 sorted. I've used Philpotts before with excellent results. However I suspect I'll be looking around the £200+ mark these days. Zpower are selling at £140 And with the current 15% discount that's £119. So has anyone bought the Zpower forks ...

Z1000 A1 gear drum selector

Hello all, me again... :D Reading through the kawasaki manual and refitting the drum selector , I noticed it mentions the neutral finder plate and that the longer pin obviously sits in the neutral recess on the plate. However it also says that the second hole in the plate should line up with the hol...
