Only just seen reply, thanks, interesting, thought they were waterproof, they do have rubber boots on them, will try some silicone grease, otherwise not sure how I can change them as there dosn't seem much else available, my ht leads are imbedded in the coils.

Pardon my ignorance but why do the swing arm caps have an elliptical cut out in them? Is it to let grease escape? And when installed should the cut out face downwards?

+1 for Vesrah, with the exception of their stem seals which have got worse in my opinion. Vesrah made many of the oem gaskets for bike manufacturers in Japan and still do as far as I know.

If it were me I would take it to a car bodyshop, they have amazing gadgets to remove dents, bend and stretch metal etc, am thinking of the spot welded pullers here. They won't like it if tank smells of fuel though, I would rinse it out with hot soapy water ...
