Re: Alloy wheel Identification CMA’s maybe?
Hi Warren, for such rare / seldom seen for sale items it's a case of how much someones prepared to pay / how badly they want them ! Especially for an early Zed - there'll probably never be another set come up for sale ! ...... Just watch this Forum ~ "For Sale" section in the next couple o...

Re: Z1000j tuned motor
I'm astonished no one has bought this yet.
Got to be worth more than double the price !
If somebody looked at buying a standard motor, then doing all the work it'd easily cost a lot more.
There must be somebody out there looking for a few more BHP ?

Re: Alloy wheel Identification CMA’s maybe?
They are pretty rare wheels.
Even for a GS they should bring decent money !
Hopefully you can recover your cost and even make a profit.
Good luck with the sale.

Re: Alloy wheel Identification CMA’s maybe?
You could probably modify those wheels to fit ? I put a pair of Astralites on a Zed which were made for a GS - its a long time ago. It can be done. It just depends how much work you want to do ! First up; most of the GS 1000 wheels were 19 inch front and 17 inch rear - the 1000 "s" had an ...

Re: Fitting mag wheels to a Z1000 A2
35.5mm (always good if you can get somebody else to confirm / agree but this size should be correct I believe) On the odd occasions in years past I've found the odd c. 0.5mm thick washer fitted in this position just to get the disc centralised in the calliper slot but we're talking 45 year old bikes...
