Great , by my reckoning the bike came originally with these rims

Sorry got that wrong it's 5H 305.

That's the date code on my front 5k 305. I'm about to have the rims re-chromed, which is not cheap and wanted to make sure they are original fitment for that boke.

Thanks for that, I take it some z900a4 will have 1975 rims presumably to use up stock.

Hi guys, I have a takasago 2.15×18 5A 303 wheel rim I wanted to ask is the the right rim for a z900a4, also will the spokes zpower sell be suitable for this rim ,thanks again.

Thanks⁶ for the quick reply, I was looking at the boyer system just not so keen on that ,the red box would have to be housed under the frame at the base of the tank a bit exposed I think. Ho well I'll order one from z-power.

Hi everyone, I've just had my dyna ignition on the z900a4 fail again ,it lasted two years, faulty Pickup 2 and 3 this is the second dyna that's failed. Same problem on the first dyna i purchased failed Pickup that time it was 1 and 4, has anyone else had this issue, or have I just been unlucky. Sure...

Thanks the reply, I'll go ahead and add the 15w oil and stick to the recommended 169cc , don't mind if it stiffens the front slightly thanks again.

Hi guys, going to do my fork seals this weekend, bought 15w oil just noticed in the manual it should be 10w ,should I use the 15w and what difference would it make ,maybe use less than the recommended 169cc . Thanks.

Will let you know zedDave, won't be changing them over till the weather gets a bit warmer, still to see what pilot jets and main jets are in them. They were on a z1000a1 when I got them and the bike ran well, will keep you informed.

Hello folks, I've recently managed to buy a set of z1r 28mm carbs,I'm presently running 26s on my z900a4. Bike runs great on problems ,is there any benefit to changing over to the 28s ,midrange, acceleration etc ,or leave well along , thanks davie.

Hi, thanks for the reply. The z900a4 grabrail has ears on it to attach the indicators.

Does anyone have a z900a4 grabrail for sale, the one that you can mount the indicators on to .
