Hi everybody, after 4 hours of removing carbs, oil cooler, ignition coils , camchain cover, i finally could check the valve timing, and it was a little out of specs. i will try again to set the camtiming, but i do not understand why this doesn't work, it worked well on my gpz1100b2 engine. And what i did not mention yet, when the engine is turning at idle, i can hear some ticking out of the camshaft cover. i've set all of the valves on the wide side, i mean, som...

Yves, i use carbtune synchroniseren, but also tried old vacuum meters, and they won t work either

A bent valve??, i did the valve check with fuel in the combustion chambers, and there is no leak, and yes i did the cold compression check without carbs, so throttle more than wide open. i have put in the piston rings as mentioned in the instruction leaflet, so i really don't know what i can do more...

yes i've done a compression test, low compression on all cylinders, 70 psi on 1 and 4, 65 on 2 and 3. of course the test was done with a cold engine, and new pistons and rings. done a leak test to, but no extreme leaks, all valves close well i think, the only thing i can think of is a wrong camshaft...
