Rider Footrest fitment Z1000 range

Hi,
Quick question, do the rider footrests for Z1000 A D etc fit all models including the ST.
Can't seem to find a simple answer on the net.

All very helpful! Love the knowledge to be found on the forum :D

Mikuni Identification help

Hi, I picked these carbs recently and was told they are for Z1000 but after looking more closely I am not convinced. They came in disassembled but complete. The choke plunger rubbers are perished on two of the bodies and will need gaskets etc. Can anyone help identify them or at least confirm they a...

Re: Z1100 Z1000 heads barrels

Here is a viable way out of youre situation. I know its a full engine but by the time you buy; head, cam cover, barrels and a set of pistons that will cost you more. You will also end up with a load of good useable spares going forward and they do say make an offer so might get it a bit cheaper tha...

Re: Z1100 Z1000 heads barrels

Hi, I'm looking for a top end to fit a Z1100 ST bottom end. Not sure if Z1000J heads and barrels are the same fitment other than cc? Trying to acquire parts as I go but don't want to look for parts that are not compatible. Will also need carbs, cams etc. Cheers, Rob You need to measure the little e...

Re: Z1100 Z1000 heads barrels

Are you still planning a chain conversion? im fairly sure the 1100st cant be converted, i read a thread about it one time. I'm sticking with shaft drive! The Z1100 swingarm is the same fitment other than the bevel box runs a marginally shorter ratio. The added bonus is there is better clearance whi...

Re: Z1100 Z1000 heads barrels

Heres' an 1100 head. Its the 'bispherical domes' version and looks to be good condition and complete apart from cams and a good price for one of this type. AL https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/335131705308?hash=item4e0767ffdc:g:alEAAOSwCI9lXjYR&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA0KCMEr6XAQbVVu%2BzLD0FPf6jK8N9u9e59d...

Might be the same as other models. Condition irrelevant as mocking up at this stage.

Re: z1000st right hand side panel

Hi, Choice of two.
£35 each including post.
No cracks or missing parts, both have had badge pin holes filled but can easily be reinstated with a drill bit.
Let me know if either are of interest. Can't send via a DM for some reason.

Re: Exhaust 4-1 wanted Z1R, Z1000

A big advantage with the Delkevic pipes is that they retain access to the sump plug and oil filter, something many 70s 80s 4 into 1 pipes don't.
