Looking for an engine builder

Does anybody have any recommendations for somebody who can undertake an engine rebuild for me? My engine has started to smoke on startup (I suspect the valve stem oil seals or valve guides), and I would also like the camchain and guides to be changed. I’m based in Lincolnshire, so somebody nearby wo...

Re: KZ1000 A2 Parts Wanted

Yes, it's still available Foz.

I'm near Sleaford in Lincolnshire. Would you want to collect it or have me ship it to you? Best to send me a PM I think.

Re: KZ1000 A2 Parts Wanted

No problem Andy. You also mentioned that you were looking for airbox parts. I removed this snorkel from my bike as the previous owner had drilled holes in the tube to “improve performance”. I covered the holes with tape, and it worked fine, until I could find a replacement one. Is it of any use to y...

Re: KZ1000 A2 Parts Wanted

Some pictures of the seat attached Andy. It looks like it has been recovered (not very well!) before by a previous owner.

I'd be looking for £75 plus postage for it.

Re: KZ1000 A2 Parts Wanted

I have a seat from a 1977 Z1000 A1 that I removed during a recent restoration. It has some minor damage to the cover but the base and foam are fine.

Not sure if it will fit yours?

Re: Henry Abe Wheels

I’m open to reasonable offers. If you check the start of the thread, I was trying to get a feel for their value before putting them up for sale.

Re: Henry Abe Wheels

They will be put up for sale Chrisu, either via this website, or on Ebay. The purpose of my original question was to establish what a reasonable price was for them here in the UK. I have seen prices (mainly from the USA, of over $1500), and I had an offer from a US based owner for $1200, but that ha...

No Paul. I still have them.

Apologies for the tardy reply, but I still don't get notifications from this site when a reply is added to my question. I'm not sure why. As a result, I missed your reply.

If you are interested let me know.
