carb innards for z1000 a1

anybody know where I can get set of jets + needle for z1000 a1 carbs? there are a few on ebay, ignoring those that just contain the needle valve and seat, but not in the a1 spec.; which is: main = 107.5 pilot = 17.5 needle = 5CN8 ... now I did spot UK seller doing these, £ 19 for one carb if memory...

been to ye olde m/c shoppe and sport demons is what the man said for pirelli, but then it was only pirelli in 120/90V19 size, hmmm.

cost, inc fitting is about £ 105 - ouch!!

Z1000 A1. I have Metrzler front tyre I want to replcae. Rear is Pirelli Match MT08 that is as good as new and ideally I want to match that tyre - seems a good idea. sadly the MT08 is no longer made and Pirelli have no recommendation about replacement. peeps on here recommending BT45 but that is cros...

you know the ickle rubber cover with wire for oil pressure switch coming out at a right angle - can it be taken apart and then reassambled? my wire has worn through to a couple of strands!!! and I need to replace it, ideally connector to the contact inside the cap. otherwise I'll just join the 2 bit...

LOL - I had this, actually it wasn't LOL. check that the disc run out is within spec. they have tendancy to warp - mind did, also didn't help by have big boots for big feet and I reckon I must have rested my foot on the brake that of course made the situation worse. and check the caliper is central ...

not a bad price. check my post on how to fit a rectifier/regulator unit, for a tenner. you can always cut the wires and jpoion them on to the wieres from the pluyg. you need to splay the wires, clean them with wet'n'dry, then push end to end, twsit for good contact then apply electrical solder. to s...

2 yellow = no good. you have 3 phase alternator so need to have 3 yellow leads.
